Title: Akira - The Special Edition

Story: Tetsuo and Kaneda, two motorbike punks in Neo-Tokyo, thought life was going just their way until they ran into a military experiment where Tesuo is caught and the military conducts experiments on him that unleashes his super-psychic powers. But as his powers get stronger, the more out of control they become and Tesuo unleashes his fury on a world that has oppressed him.

Anime Direct Comments: This is the granddaddy of all great anime movies. It has some of the best hand drawn animation that has to be seen to believed coupled with an amazing story and plenty of  action (check out the destruction of Tokyo!!) . It is a classic and unmissable movie for anyone!! This version  also includes a production report how they created in this amazing movie.   Rating: 5 out of 5!!
