Ranma is the extremely popular series created by Rumiko Takahashi. It is a series that has spanned many seasons and donned many movies all based around Ranma and his/her friends (dont ask!). Ranma is a teenage martial artist , his father Gnema has taken him from home on a decade long training mission. He takes Ranma to a training place in China called JUSENKYO, where falling into one of the many springs instantly turns you into whoever or whatever drowned last there. And then they have this little accident... Ranma fell into a spring where, and now when ever cold water is poured onto him he turns into a girl and his father turns in a GIANT PANDA!!!! And so started one of the most entertaining and successful series in anime history, witty, funny, good action and a great story.

Story: Kuno invites Ranma and his pals for a trip on his yacht, when a sudden storm shipwrecks them on a deserted island. Whilst trying to repair the ship all the girls in the group slowly disappear. Turns out they are being abducted by Prince Toma, the ruler of this floating island. There is also a magical spring that turns anything it touches into instant male , Ranma wants to get his hands onto it!!! But one his fiancee Akane is one of the kidnapees!!!! Now , in order to rescue the ladies Ranma (in his female form!!) enters the any-thing goes martial arts bride-off which includes such events as "survival flower arranging" and "obstacle course cooking"!!!
